A place of hope for the homeless
Teresa Ryan put on a special Zumba Gold class at the Parish Centre in Stonegravels to raise money for Church on the Bus. The session was a great success and £182 was raised. One or two of our volunteers found that Zumba is hard work but great fun! Thank you so much Teresa!

We were delighted to hear this week that the members of Chesterfield Town Women’s Institute have voted to adopt Church on the Bus as their Charity of the Year 2017. When we receive support from local organisations such as the WI it really encourages our volunteers and of course, everything donated by the WI members will go to helping the disadvantaged people who visit the Bus.

On the 25th June we are holding a ‘sleep under the stars’ in the grounds of St. Thomas’ Church on Chatsworh Road.
We will be having a BBQ and then will be tucking ourselves up in our PJs for a night sleeping under the stars.
